Notice of Land Use Public Hearings

NOTICE OF LAND USE PUBLIC HEARING May 17, 2022 At 7pm

• Or-Cal Site Plan Review-LU 441-2022 and LU 442-2022:  The subject site is located at 480 Territorial Street and is known as tax lot 3202 of Linn County Assessor’s Map 15S04W15BB.  The applicant requests approval of a Site Plan Review and Variance to construct a 11,400 sq. ft. building located to the south of the existing facility at 480 Territorial Rd.  The Variance request is required because the proposed structure is located in the H-1 Historical Overlay Zone.  The proposed building will be both a manufacturing facility, and a storage warehouse.

REQUEST PENDING ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR/PLANNER

• Parking Lot Site Plan– LU 440-2022:  The applicant is establishing his commercial business in a location that has only been used for warehousing space since 2002.  While the parking lot is paved, there are no marked parking spaces.  The applicant is required to provide 6 parking spaces, but because of the location in the H-1 Historical Overlay Zone, the applicant may cut down the spaces to 3, plus a handicapped space, for a total of 4 parking spaces.

• OPTIONS FOR PROVIDING COMMENT: This land use request is pending an administrative review by the City Administrator/Planner.  Therefore, there will not be a public meeting or a public hearing for this subject. You may provide written or verbal testimony to the City Administrator/Planner prior to May 9, 2022.  If you would like your written or verbal testimony to be addressed in the staff report, then you must provide it to the City Administrator/Planner prior to May 6, 2022.
