Improvisational Theater

Calendar Date:
Monday, August 10, 2015 - 6:15pm to Thursday, August 13, 2015 - 8:15pm

In improvisational theater (also known as "improv") the actors work together to make up dialog and action as they perform rather than using a prepared script. It is part experiment and part "thinking on your feet" with a lot of audience and group interaction.

This class will teach basic improv techniques. Students will have fun practicing their new skills. Teachers and business professionals who give presentations will also benefit from learning these techniques.

This class is for anyone age 12 & up, including adults. Class will be held August 10 - 13, from 6:15 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 701 Smith St. Cost is $10. The instructor is Greg Hartley.

To register, stop by or call the HART Center, 354 Smith St., 541-995-7700. You can also drop off a completed registration form with exact change at the library or city hall.
