Summer Reading programs
Join us for our 2024 Summer Reading Programs! The fun begins, Friday June 14th to August 16th at 10am, at the Harrisburg Municipal Center. Please contact the Library at (541)995-6949 for more information. See you there!
NEW - Baby Storytime
Beginning in September, join us on Wednesday mornings at 11am for Baby Storytime.
Designed for our youngest friends and neighbors (0-3yrs), there will be songs, rhymes, stories, and fun each week.
OverDrive-Oregon Digital Library Consortium
The Harrisburg Public Library is excited to announce that we are now part of the Oregon Digital Library Consortium, Library2go! Our Patrons will be able to check out E-Books, Audio Books and more via the Libby app at no charge!
To sign up visit Overdrive You must have a current Harrisburg Public Library Card that begins with the prefix "PHPL". If you don't, please contact the Library at (541)995-6949 and we will be happy to replace your card with an updated one. You will also need to know your PIN number. If you need assistance, please contact the Library.

''ROCKET LANGUAGES'' A LANGUAGE LEARNING SERVICE is NOW AVAILABLE!
Harrisburg Public Library is now offering, ''Rocket Languages'', an award winning interactive online language learning system for our Patrons. The multi-faceted system allows patrons to learn new languages at their own pace. Patrons will have access to downloadable lessons, games and much more!
To get started, click https://app.rocketlanguages.com/library/TpGk28YeYg6W, enter your library card number, create an account and start learning! Your Library Card number must have the prefix, "PHPL" in order to sign up. If your card doesn't, please contact the Library at (541)995-6949 or in person at 354 Smith St, and we will be happy to update your card.
As always, Library Cards are free for all Harrisburg Residents who reside inside the City limits and are only $25.00 per year for Non-Residents and $12.50 for Senior Non-Residents. We can't wait to see you!

We are located at 354 Smith Street and current hours are:
- Closed Sunday & Monday
- Tuesday 1pm to 5pm
- Wednesday 9am to 5pm
- Thursday 1pm to 7pm
- Friday 9am to 5pm
- Saturday 10am to 3pm
Library cards are free to Harrisburg residents and $25.00 for those who reside outside of city limits. We are part of the Linn Library Consortium which gives you 5 other libraries from which you can access books. To learn more about the Consortium and checking out books from other libraries, click on the Linn Libraries Consortium button.
