The Senior Center is located on the east side of the Harrisburg Justice Center, at 354 Smith Street; Its a green building located right next to the Library! The parking lot is on the southwest corner of 4th & Smith St.
There is lots to do at the Senior Center; did you know that the Senior Center is available for other events, meetings, gatherings, and crafting? They also have a small kitchen, restrooms, and two nice pool tables. If you are interested, contact Eldon McDowney at 541-409-0741.
Join in for any of the events you are interested in. The events include:
- Potluck on the first Wednesday of the month from noon until people leave.
- Play games like pool, cards and puzzles every Wednesday and Saturday from 1:00 to 5:00.
- You can get your blood pressure checked from 1:00 to 3:00pm every Wednesday.
- Bingo on the 3rd Tuesday of each month 10:00 - 12:00pm.
There is also a computer with internet access available for anyone's use. While the city does provide a building, and the utilities, the services and events for the senior center are ran by the awesome seniors in our community.
