Gazebo at Riverfront Park
The Gazebo is now available for rental!
Harrisburg's traditional white Gazebo is located in Riverfront Park, which borders the scenic Willamette River. Built through community donations and by city volunteers, it has become a focal point for the community.
Many public and private events occur at the Gazebo. After the 4th of July, you'll find the Summer Sounds Concert series being held on Thursdays starting at 4:00pm. The City also holds a National Night Out event on the first Tuesday of August on an annual basis. The Gazebo and other city facilities are now available for usage and renting as it was prior to the pandemic.
The Willamette River has contributed greater than anything else to the history of this city. Looking up and down the river from the Gazebo, you can imagine the role the river has played in the development of the community. In the mid to late 1800's, it brought people here and served as a transportation center with the use of shallow draft boats that hauled supplies and products to Portland. People here continue to say it is the city's greatest asset.
The Willamette River, Riverfront Park the Gazebo, and now Eagle Park--a great combination!
