Coloring Contest - 2024

Coloring Sheets are available below for download, or you can also find them on Facebook, or at City Hall.  All coloring sheets need to be turned in by June 26 this year, at City hall.  Winners will be announced on Facebook on Friday, June 28!  

Kids Fun Run - June 30, 2024!

Sign your child up to participate in either the 5K, the Kids Fun Run, if not both!   (We've had children as young as 5 years old run in the 5K!)  The Fun Run is held at 10:00am.  Be sure to check out the online registration system, or be sure to sign your child up at pre-registration, or early on the day of the event. 

Pet Parade & Costume Contest! - July 3rd, 2024

The Harrisburg Pet Parade & Costumed Event is happening!   On Monday, July 3rd, decorate yourself, your family, your friends, your PETS in red, white, and blue, and come join the fun.  Decorated bicycles, wagons, and carts are welcome to participate.  Please, no electric or motorized bikes, unless you have an electric wheelchair.

Check-in starts on Schooling St, at 10:30am with judging beginning at 10:45.  The parade itself begins at 11:00am.  The parade route is down 1st St. from Schooling Street to the Gazebo.

Family Games & Races - July 4th, 2024!

Join us for good old-fashioned races and games across from the middle school on 6th St., directly following the end of the parade.  The following activities occur one at a time for ages 3-adult.  Prizes awarded by age:

• Penny Scramble
• Foot Races
• Gunny Sack Races
• Egg Toss
• 3-Legged Races

Inflatable Obstacle Course - July 4th, 2024 12:30-4:00pm

Thankfully, the infaltable obstacle Course will be at BN Park, which is mostly in shade.  It's directly across the street from the Fire Station!   Available for all ages following the parade.
