Transportation Options
The City of Harrisburg is located in Linn County, and as such, belongs to an area that is covered by the Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments. Amongst other services they offer, they are able to offer transportation solutions to citizens meeting eligibility requirements. These are some of the options available to the citizens of Harrisburg:
Cascades West Ride Line
- Their objective is to coordinate transportation services for eligible Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and Medicaid clients traveling to and from covered non-emergency medical services.
- Transportation is provided to those OHP eligible clients living in Lincoln, Benton and Linn Counties who have no other way to get to their medical services.
- Transportation is arranged through locally contracted transportation providers. Rides are limited by the availability of transportation provider, and rides must be scheduled in advance.
- This program also is able to reimburse mileage to caregivers, both family and friends, that provide transportation assistance to a citizen who is eligible for the program.
- Contact 1-866-724-2975 for more information, or to schedule a ride.
