Bulk Mail Postcard on Harrisburg Candidates and 2024 Election
The City of Harrisburg has become aware of a bulk mailing/large postcard (red, white & blue) that was sent to citizens in Harrisburg. The City of Harrisburg didn't provide information to this organization, but the information in relation to candidates Bobby Duncan and Randy Klemm was gathered from their biographies on the City's public website. The mailer information was posted without their permission. Unfortunately, it didn't include information on one of our incumbents, Mike Caughey, who has been a City Council Member (and City Council President) since 2012.
You can find information about all of our certified candidates by following this link: https://www.ci.harrisburg.or.us/citycouncil/page/harrisburg-city-council-candidates-2024-election. Write-in candidates are not shown, as they aren't certified candidates in the election system. There is general information about them on Facebook.
On the mailer, you'll also find a box marked 'Harrisburg Talking'. This statement and information in this postcard was not made by the City of Harrisburg, at any of our meetings, or by any of our City Council Members, the Mayor or staff members.
