INFORMATION RELATED TO THE Harrisburg Extreme Tour Event IS BELOW:
CASE: Harrisburg Extreme Tour 2022 - Public Event permit 2022-05
SITE LOCATION: Harrisburg Skate Park and School District property adjacent to this area. Parking will be at the Harrisburg Christian Church, and on S. 6th St.
APPLICANT

REQUEST:
The event combines Extreme Sports and competition, live music, and outreach to area teens and kids. A small stage, with sound system and generator will be on the property adjacent to the Skatepark. A Bucks bathroom will be dropped off adjacent to the Skatepark on the 20th of September, and will be picked up by the company by the end of the week. The applicant will also bring water for attendees, along with garbage cans and recycling bins. The general attendance at the event is 100 people at the most. There is a Skateboard/Scooter/BMX Competition, and exhibitions from well known extreme sport athletes. Bands are live, with a sound system and generator.
Event applicant will start setting up at 2:00. The amplified noise will start at 4:00 and must end at the latest by 10:00pm. (Noise is timed for 5:00 to 9:00). The applicant is required to obtain a facility use permit from the School District for this event.

DECISION:
The City Administrator has approved this event, with modified conditions of approval which are now attached at the bottom of this webpage.
DECISION-MAKING CRITERIA:
The City Administrator evaluated this request based on specific review criteria from the Harrisburg Municipal Code (HMC) Chapter 9.52.
Citizens are encouraged to become familiar with the applications and applicable review criteria. All documents associated with the request may be reviewed at City Hall without charge; or, copies will be provided upon request at a charge.
