Harrisburg Cross Country Public Event Permit
Public Event Permit for Harrisburg Cross Country Club - Monday, March 22, 2021 9:00 to 5:00
The Harrisburg Cross Country Club is holding a running event for high school and middle school runners.
The route is the same as the Firecracker 5K; Starting at the High School track, runner will proceed north on 9th St. to Smith, west to 6th St., south to Priceboro, east to Cramer/Sommerville Loop, North to Sommerville Loop, west to 6th St., north on 6th St to LaSalle St, east to 9th St., and return to the high school.
There will be approximately 150 to 250 people participating in this event, that number includes both runners and spectators. The event organizer is required to follow Oregon Health Authority standards for Outdoor Recreation and Fitness, if K-12 standards do not apply. Race monitors will be present at all street crossings.
The route is included on the picture above. The permit request, and subsequent approval with conditions are available as a download below. Please note that the date of the event, as well as time, were modified from the original plans.
