Public Event Permit Request for the Michael Bryson Foundation Marathon Shuffle 5k Event - Saturday, August 6 @ 8:30am to 11:00am

The Michael Bryson Foundation is holding a 5K Fundraising Event on Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 8:30 am to 11:00am.

The route is the same as the Firecracker 5K; Starting at the High School track, participants will proceed north on 9th St. to Smith, west to 6th St., south to Priceboro, east to Kramer/Sommerville Loop, North to Sommerville Loop, west to 6th St., north on 6th St to LaSalle St, east to 9th St., and return to the high school.

There will be approximately 150 to 250 people participating in this event.  Race monitors will be present at all street crossings. 

Parrish Bryson has applied for a public event permit in order to hold a 5K Fundraising event in support of the Michael Bryson Foundation.  Property owners along the route had the right to comment on this public event, but none contacted the City with any concerns by the deadline.
