SITE LOCATION:
The subject site is located at 455 Peoria Rd in Harrisburg, OR., and is the location of Gheen Irrigation Works, Inc. They are repainting parking spaces, adding new ones, and removing others.

REQUEST:
The applicant is revising existing parking areas of 130 regular space, plus 2 handicapped spaces, as per the site plan LU No. 285, from 2012. Current spaces used are 76 regular spaces, and 2 handicapped. The revision will add new parking in different locations, for a total of 82 parking spaces; 80 regular, and 2 handicapped. Gheen Irrigation Works currently has 75 employees. As per the attached site plan, Applicant will repaint existing spaces, add the new spaces, and remove the excess. No utilities, or any other changes are being made at this time.

OPTIONS FOR PROVIDING COMMENT:
This land use request is pending an administrative review by the City Administrator/Planner. Therefore, there will not be a public meeting or a public hearing for this subject.
You may provide written or verbal testimony to the City Administrator/Planner prior to June 16, 2021. If you would like your written or verbal testimony to be addressed in the staff report, then you must provide it to the City Administrator/Planner prior to June 8, 2021.
DECISION:
The City Administrator/Planner’s decision will be final unless appealed to the City Council. Appeals to the City Council must be submitted to the City Recorder, consistent with the provisions in HMC 18.125.090.
DECISION-MAKING CRITERIA:
The City Administrator/Planner will evaluate this request based on specific review criteria from the Harrisburg Municipal Code (HMC) and other applicable requirements. The staff-identified criteria for this land use decision are found in HMC 18.95.030, 18.95.060, and 18.125.
Citizens are encouraged to become familiar with the applications and applicable review criteria. A staff report discussing the request in relation to the criteria will be available 5 days before the administrative review.
A copy of this notice, and the site plan are posted to the City’s website for viewing. All documents may be reviewed at City Hall without charge; copies will be provided upon request at a charge.
